At Reprieve Recovery Philadelphia, our adolescent mentoring program is designed to support teens during one of life’s most challenging chapters. Balancing school, activities, and social pressures can be tough — especially when faced with peer pressure and the temptation of unhealthy choices. We’re here to help young people navigate these challenges in a positive, healthy way. Since 2012, Reprieve Recovery Philadelphia has been proud to offer adolescent mentoring services that truly support young people on their journey. Our mentors are experienced, highly trained professionals with deep knowledge in recovery support. They collaborate closely with supervisors, treatment teams, and families to ensure every teen receives consistent, compassionate care. Ongoing education and training for our mentors is a key part of our program, so they’re always ready to provide the best guidance possible. Support

At Reprieve Recovery Philadelphia, our adolescent mentoring program uses a thoughtful three-part approach to help at-risk teens build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Connecting to Resources
Our mentors link teens to vital support systems, including self-help groups and activities that encourage personal growth and meaningful connections.

Family Action Plan
We work closely with families to develop a clear, supportive Family Action Plan — fostering trust, having open conversations about the challenges the teen faces, and setting healthy boundaries within the mentoring relationship.

Recovery Accountability
To help teens stay on track, mentors regularly monitor progress with urinalysis and alcohol testing, providing the support and encouragement needed to maintain focus throughout their recovery journey.
